'Getting Through'

The six sections of this painting were made in one line and first hung this way, they have however been hung in two separate sets of 3 running down the wall.

Like the Connections paintings layers of interlacing, meandering ribbons of colour some close toned, some strongly contrasted, some opaque, some more transparent enter and exit from all sides of the canvas. The six pieces have some elements which can easily be seen to travel from one section to the next, some have travelled out of the confines of the square of canvas.
